Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has dismissed the possibility of an alliance bringing together Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto amid reports that the former Prime Minister was pursuing a deal with Ruto.

The vocal MP also shared a draf of what Raila Odinga’s dream team would look like, bringing back NASA principals as well as President Uhuru Kenyatta and KANU’s Gideon Moi.

In his list, Raila takes the top seat, deputized by, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka with President Uhuru Kenyatta taking the Prime Minister slot.

KANU chairman Gideon Moi and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi take the first and second Deputy Prime Minister positions respectively based on the proposals of the BBI report that will see the positions introduced in the constitution.

Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho and his Kilifi counterpart Amason Kingi are listed as the speakers of the National Assembly and Senate respectively.

The lawmaker maintained that he would retain his Embakasi East parliamentary position and find a slot in the Cabinet after the BBI constitutional amendments allow MPs to be appointed as Cabinet Secretaries.

The DP Ruto brigade would form a robust opposition to keep the government of the day in check.
