ODM party leader Raila Odinga today held a clossed-door meeting with KANU party leader Gideon Moi and President Uhuru Kenyyatta’s brother Muhoho Kenyatta.
What the Baringo senator downplayed as “a courtesy call accompanied by Mr. Muhoho Kenyatta” had political undertones with the timing adding more speculation.
Details about the discussions held during the meeting remain scanty even as it sent tongues wagging at a time when Raila is reported to be considering an alliance with DP Ruto with reports indicating that Uhuru’s camp may not be impressed with the developments.
Reports further indicate that One Kenya Alliance that brings together Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper party), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) AND Gideon Moi (KANU) has the blessings of state house.
In a short statement that did not reveal much, the Baringo Senator wrote:
“I am deeply impressed by The Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga’s quick and steady recovery; a clear indication of his resilience even in the face of adversity. We wish him good health, long life and boundless joy as one of our country’s foremost patriots.
Paid Hon. Raila Odinga a courtesy call accompanied by Mr. Muhoho Kenyatta.”.
