One Kenya Alliance that has brought together Musalia Mudavadi, Gideon Moi, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula have addressed claims that the union is a state House project.
The union that has Amani National Congress, Ford-Kenya, Wiper, and Kanu parties has dismissed claims that it is a State House project for the 2022 general election.
Speaking on Wednesday, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi stet the record straight noting that the rumuour is being peddled by their opponents who have sensed defeat in the upcoming elections.
The ANC party leader noted that it is a case of the kettle calling the pot black, stating that those accusing them of being a State House project are currently closer to the President than they are.
“If you take a closer look, you will realise that those who are calling us a project are the people who are currently working very closely with the government. They are far much closer to the government than us,” Mudavadi said.
He challenged those peddling rumours to engage the electorates with solid agenda instead of cheap politics.
“We should tell Kenyans what we intend to change in their lives if they elect us and then leave it up to them to decide who the next President will be,” he said.
The one Kenya alliance surfaced after Mudavadi, Kalonzo and Wetangula who were all NASA principals fell out with Raila Odinga.
Speculation is rife that that the union has blessings of State House with Musalia Mudavadi and Gideon Moi touted as the likely candidates to face off with DP Ruto and other contetants.
