One side is led by Siaya Senator James Orengo who has since been labelled a traitor by Raila’s inner circles while the other is led by Suna East MP Junet Mohamed.

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has reached out to ODM party leader Raila Odinga to help in sorting out the mess in the orange party where divisions have surfaced with two rival factions emerging.

The Gatundu lawmaker christened the rival factions as ODM Asili (led by Orengo) and ODM led by Junet.

Kuria maintained that he is availableto help in sorting out the mess and all Odinga needs to do is to call him.

“Dear my friend Raila Odinga. It is now clear we have ODM led by Junet, Mbadi & Opiyo Wandayi and ODM Asili led by Orengo, Otiende Amollo and Okongo Omogeni. If you need help sorting out this mess you have my number,” said Moses Kuria.

Kipchumba Murkomen also waded into the reports of the divisions noting that the belief in Raila Odinga who unfortunately believes in the money is the only thing uniting the two rival sides.

According to Murkomen, the division is between one side is for democracy, human rights and good governance led by Senator James Orengo, Otiende Amollo and Millie Odhiambo.

He added that the wing led by Junet, Mbadi and Wanga want the Building Bridges Initiative passed as the Government wants without giving it much thought.

“The fight within ODM is btw democracy, human rights & good governance wing led by Orengo/Otiende/Millie vs the merchants & tenderpreneurs led by Junet/Mbadi/Wanga. Idealists’ vs dealers. Both believe in Baba but Baba believes in the Money. The dealers want BBI passed the way State wants,” tweeted Murkomen.
