Kuria noted that Koimburi intervened after the government failed to act for so many years only for their efforts to be met with hostility.

‘For so many years, men women and children at Witeithie Market have been using open air toilets in land belonging to some very wealthy families. That is why Hon George Koimburi and myself decided to construct a modern block of toilets for them, replete with even several bathrooms.
