Five family members were earlier today confirmed dead and four others seriously injured, following a deadly road crash along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway.
Confirming the incident, Coast regional traffic commandant Peter Maina said that the car they were in collided head on with a truck at Taru area.
The four injured were rescued and had been rushed to the hospital, for treatment.
