Deputy President William Ruto yesterday wowed guests on the dance floor at June Ruto’s engagement party on Saturday, May 9.
Ruto tried his hand at deejaying at the event that saw Kalenjin and Igbo tunes belted in a bled of the two cultures mashed with a touch of modernity.
A 19 seconds video posted by Communication and Digital Strategist Dennis Itumbi shows an excited DP is seen controlling the knobs on the audio mixer as a Kalenjin song plays in the background.
On hand to guide him as he tried out his skills was DJ Protege who had been tasked with the day’s entertainment.
The DP was hosting his Nigerian in-laws at his Karen home in a ceremony known as the Koito where dowry negotiations were taking place.
June is a diplomat working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and currently serves as the chargé d’affaires at the Kenyan Embassy in Poland.
