As the race for 2022 heats up, Deputy President William Ruto is currently putting together a dependable team in every corner of the country to help push his agenda.

All indications points at the DP ditching the ruling Jubilee for his UDA linked outfit, with speculations rife he will use it for his Presidential bid next year.

His key allies are currently strategically poised to front his agenda, with strategic roles assigned in different parts of the country.

In Nakuru County for instance, Senator Susan Kihika has been tasked with the key role of popularising the UDA party in the region.

Reports indicate that the Senator has already assembled a dependable team made up of mainly businessmen and opinion leaders and area politicians.

All are tasked with supporting the vocal legislator in her critical role of popularizing the outfit, a thing did during Jubilee party’s last polls.

The team dubbed ‘UDA Nakuru Coordination Team’ has one representative from each of the constituencies of the County.

They include among others, Bernard Gitau Kimani (Team leader), Paul Kibet Chebor (Rongai), Joseph Mwangi Njeru (Gilgil), Anthony Kamau Ng’ang’a (Naivasha ), and John Kamau Muchai (Subukia).

Others include; Wesley Kipkemoi Ruttoh (Kuresoi North), Anthony Maina Ngari (Nakuru Town East), John Lang’at (Kuresoi South), Zakayo Maina (Nakuru West), Benjamin Kibet Kirui (Njoro) John Bosco Wagacha (Bahati), and Grace Karanja (Molo).

Nakuru County being a metropolitan with registered voters across the Country attracts a lot of interest from the DP camp.

Other allies from different parts of the Country are also warming up to take similar roles in popularizing the party ahead of the 2022 polls.
