Days after betraying the Deputy President William Ruto thereby voting in support of the bill, Bahati MP Ngunjiri Wambugu has launched fresh attacks on the DP Ruto linked UDA outfit.

This is after a section of the party officials party officials did rounds with the claims that they had the DP’s direct authority to undertake the affairs of the party.

“We are aware of agents of disunity moving around hoodwinking people that they have the blessings of the Deputy President to control affairs of UDA in counties. “They have positioned people to take up positions as interim officials,” Ngunjiri stated.

His sentiments were reiterated by the Uasin Gishu UDA party coordinator Paul Kiprop who noted that some officials sought to hijack the party’s leadership at the grassroots level.

This follows the party’s current undertaking in calling on Kenyans to register as party members, in preparation for the upcoming grassroot elections.

It also comes amid reports of dissenting minds within the party after the second in command met a section of the Mt. Kenya leaders as was stated by former Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri.

DP WIlliam Ruto chats with Bahati Mp Kimani Ngunjiri and Former CS Mwangi Kiunjuri during the burial ceremony fo the Late Ruth Wanjiku in Limuru,Kiambu county.

“There are internal wrangles in UDA and recently I heard them accusing each other.

“Mukami (Nyeri Woman Rep) is accusing Rigathi (Mathira MP) of sidelining her in the meeting while in Nakuru, Kihika (Nakuru Senator) is in trouble for skipping the discussions,” Kiunjuri stated during an interview at Inooro TV

He added that he formed his own The Service Party of Kenya (TSP) so as to have a fallback plan instead of joining the DP Ruto linked UDA party ahead of the 2022 general elections.

“I am a supporter of the Deputy President but I cannot join UDA. I decided to form TSP so that if ever UDA goes up in flames, I will tell my Mt Kenya people that I had foreseen it,” Kiunjuri pointed out.
