Uhuru Insider:Some works are going on behind cameras and Uhuru-Ruto will reunite soon, watch out for casualties

Laikipia Woman Representative Cate Waruguru disclosed that efforts are underway to reconcile President Uhuru Kenyatta with his deputy William Ruto, warning that many casualties will be left should the efforts yield the desired results.

She added that more surprises are loading with a truce between the two leaders in the offing.

“Some works are going on behind cameras. People should wait for more surprises. There is a truce that is likely to happen between President Uhuru and his deputy Ruto.” Waruguru stated.

The remarks come at a time when the relationship between the president and his deputy is at its worst state, having degenerated from the bromance that Kenyans were treated to when the duo took office with matching ties, shirts and suits.

At the heart of the frosty relationship is the handshake with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga that apparently angered DP Ruto and which he has protested against on numerous occasions accusing the ODM party leader of creating chaos in Jubilee.

A ruthless purge in Jubilee that saw several DP Ruto allies kicked out of prime positions in both the Senate and the national assembly only made things worse.

Well connected state officials have also been roped in with allegations surfacing that they are undermining the second in command.

The president has also given hints on several occasions that he may not support his deputy in 2022 as initially thought.

The head of state moved in to even stall DP Ruto’s pre-mature campaigns by barring the use of launch state projects to advance his 2022 bid.
