Date for Kalembe Ndile’s Funeral Announced

Former Kibwezi Member of Parliament Kalembe Ndile will be burried on Friday June 11, 2021 at his Mbui Nzau home in Makueni.

The family as well as Mavoko MP Patrick Makau confirmed the date with preparations underway to give the vocal leader a befitting sendoff.

Family and friends as well as those involved in the funeral arrangements meet at his home in Greenpark Estate.

Ndile breathed his last on Sunday May 30, 2021 while undergoing treatment at the Nairobi Hospital where he had been admitted.

Condolences streamed in with many remembering him for his sheer hard work that saw him rise up the ranks to be a leader among his people, an Assistant Minister and an MP.

President Uhuru Kenyatta, his Deputy William Ruto and ANC Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi led Kenyans in him.

“It is unfortunate that death has taken from us the Hon Kalembe Ndile in his prime. He was a lively politician who loved and worked with everyone, and always held the interests of the country at heart,” the President said.

Mheshimiwa Kalembe Ndile devoted his life to serve the people of Kibwezi. He was a master of equal justice who set an incredible example of service to all. He will best be remembered for his modesty, insights, independent voice and fighting for the rights of the underprivileged.Wrote DP Ruto.
