Through the statement made on Thursday 2 June, The media personality called a quit from the MediaMax limited owned station after more than a decade of working.
Though she did not reveal her next move Kirumba thanked all her listeners and fans informing them that it was time to call it quits after gracing the airwaves hosting different shows for the company.
“It’s been good working with Kameme FM for 12 good years of laughter and love. Thanks to my listeners.
“It’s time to say goodbye,” Kirumba stated.
The popular personality was hosting the afternoon shows before she was moved to the current mid-morning shows.
Kirumba was doing the mid-morning show together with comedian Kihenjo a show which was a crowd mover across the country
The journey of the media personality started way back when she was working at the Bahasha FM media station owned by the former MP for Naivasha, before joining Kamene radio
During her work at the station, one time she was suspended following a violent altercation with her co-host, Keziah wa Kariuki.
She had confronted Keziah during one of the show’s breaks but got a rude shock when the co-host despised her.
“When we went on air, I noticed that she was sneering at me. I hate gossip and so I confronted her about it and she shrugged it off. As the music ended, I slapped her,” Muthoni stated during a past interview.
Njogu Wachira, who was her boss at the time, suspended the two presenters but the aggressor received a heavier punishment. She was suspended for two weeks
Besides her work at Kamene radio Kirumba enjoyed a lavish lifestyle filled with, traveling, photo shoots, and adventure, attracting massive followers from her different social media platforms.
