Parents and caregivers have been urged to continue monitoring their children closely more so in this crucial holiday season, for they know not the enemy and when it may strike.

This Advisory has been given by Kenya Assemblies of God Nyahururu District Bishop Simon Kieru who also called upon the church to remain steadfast in rebuking demonic altars.

Relating to the case of Baby Sagini whose eyes were gouged out, the Bishop termed this as a demonic power which is on the prowl seeking the ruin of souls.

“Trying to analyse the Baby Sagini case, we can opine that this is the influence of demonic power and all its influences. That’s why such a heartless perpetrator has ruined the life of the little one. The other probable cause is the influence of drugs, so let us be very close to our children and caution them against drugs.”

The Bishop was quick to reiterate the importance of proper parenting and staying close to the children and to mentor them so that they can grow to become responsible members of the Society.

Baby Sagini case preceded another incident at Kwambira, Limuru where a sixteen year old boy was found murdered through stabbing by unknown assailants.

In both cases, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations is on a manhunt for the perpetrators.
