Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) officially signed a partnership agreement with Alymali Sports Management on the Management and Commercialization of the Women’s National Team – (The Lionesses). The 3-year Partnership will ensure that the Lionesses receive the much-needed support to ensure the smooth running of the team and participation in circuits and tournaments that will improve their overall ranking and exposure. Aside from securing sponsorships for the Team, Alymali will be undertaking activities that will provide support for the development of the Brand Lionesses and players both at the team level and at a personal level.

Speaking at the official signing ceremony at the Alymali Offices in Westlands, KRU Chairperson Oduor Gangla outlined the squad’s impressive performance and ability to produce top-notch professional players despite limited resources and a myriad of challenges they encounter. He acknowledged Alymali’s determination to positively transform the sports scene in Africa and vowed to support their efforts in improving the sport, especially the Women’s division.

Also present during the ceremony was The Lionesses 15’s Captain Peruce Muyuka. She welcomed the partnership, citing that it came at a time when they need much support to participate in critical tournaments to ensure they qualify for the Olympics. She reiterated their commitment as players to ensure they fly the flag high with impressive performances in their fixtures.

Alymali’s Director of Sports and Entertainment Silalei Shani expressed her gratitude to the Union for taking a leap of faith and trusting the “New kid on the block”. She affirmed the company’s efforts in looking for the right Sponsors and Partners for the Brand Lionesses to ensure optimal performance and sustainability so that the players can fully concentrate on their performance on the pitch. She emphasized the Company’s commitment to providing the Sports sector in Kenya and the rest of Africa positively transformed to make it as competitive as it is in the West.
