The Unveiling of the winners of the “Odi-Nare” rap challenge came to an end.Last month, Khaligraph Jones and Odibets under their Odi-mtaani initiative launching the Odi-Nare rap challenge that was set to motivate and encourage upcoming artist to continue pushing for their dreams to become what they’re hoping in life.
Unveiling of the Odi-Nare rap challenge winners was led by Odibets General Manager, Dedan Mungai and Khaligraph Jones alias Papa Jones at the Ole-Sereni hotel on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.The challenge attracted a number of upcoming artistes.
The participants showed their rapping skills live on stage moving the crowd during the curtain raising moment.
Odibets has been on the ground to nurture talents under the championed Odi-Mtaani initiative to promote talents.”We saw it fit to nurture talents for young generations to help them achieve their dreams” Marketing Manager Odibet said.Aggrey further urged to support the winners and monitor them closely to help them realize their targets after the winning moment for the hyped street music popularly known us Hip-hop.
Boys and girls from the streets showed there talents and entertained the crowd in attendance to witness their moments.The initiative was created to appreciate and promote the street talents urging both the winners and losers to remain contented and understand that this is just a challenge and they will assist both to grow their careers. ‘If you have the opportunity do your best stand and move forward” Odibet GM, Mungai said.
Content creator Jaymo Ule Msee was the lead emcee spoke on supporting the youths who get up and show their talents and they will get support.Papa Jones the brand ambassador for the artiste witnessed the exercise saying he is a millionaire to assist those ready to be assisted. ”OG ni Millionaire I can decide to share the millions with everybody” OG said.
The hotly contested rap challenge attracted participants inclusion of Katapila winning the challenge and awarded 1 Million Kenya shillings in cheque. Ben C came second with five hundred thousand shillings, Lyn Elai coming 3rd with three thousand Kenya Shillings as Mrasta Mrasta, Achicho Software and Shakira Karen both awarded fifty thousand Kenya Shillings both with 13000 total votes the voting process was conducted online though sending SMS to 40400 taking a duration of three days.
Both artistes who came top six are set to receive a recording deal at Papa Jones recording label, Blu Ink Corporation.
3 Million Money has been placed aside for recording as Odibet GM vowed to add another 3M to help the music recording journey.Dedan Mungai said the money won will be released in one week time to facilitate the winners.
