Irungu Nyakera a man on the run for the gubernatorial seat states that youth should wake up and see the other unidentified sources of income which have been overlooked in the strategy to improve the Murang’a county. Nyakera promises that Manufacturing companies, as well as other businesses, are well planned for if he clinches the Murang’a top job through which under his leadership hopes to attract additional investors to the county streamlining service delivery. ”That is not to say that other sources of income have been overlooked in the strategy to improve the county. In the Mountain region ,Murang’a people values agriculture above all else. the long time servant in the Tea Reforms forum says that Tea growing, dairy farming, and fruit farming provides a living for many families in the county. The locals refer him as the Tree seedling don terming him as the most popular man in the Murang’a community. ”I don’t like translating Trees in Kikuyu coz it brings out other ideas against the intended purpose. Where I am, Kiharu, CBS Irungu is the most Popular Candidate.” said Tabby Kanyungu.
