County Government’s ought to work in strict adherence to tenets of mutual understanding for progress and development of counties.
Kilifi County Assembly Speaker Teddy Mwambire, says that he has been on the frontline to ensure that members of county assembly undergo capacity building in a bid to aptly undertake their mandate.
He also at the same time said that the county assembly is the backbone of any County Government which us why it’s impact and input is highly required.
“Our Kilifi County we are working to ensure that our county government is functional and to improve service delivery to our people,” he said.
Teddy’s Advisory is that Members of County Assembly should expedite their duties without fear or favour and at the same time put the executive in check.
He cautioned them against any form of power struggles which stifle development.
