During this season let us give hope and come together as one people and one family regardless of our color,\u00a0 faith, political affiliations, and ethnicity\u00a0 and\u00a0 back to the society.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\nGovernor Kananu further reiterated her Government\u2019s commitment towards uplifting the well-being of the vulnerable groups in the society, especially during the current economic hard times as a result of Covid -19 impact globally.<\/p>\n
The Lighting of the Governor\u2019s Christmas tree is an annual event whose objective is to celebrate and share donations from the County and friends of the County with the less privileged in the society.<\/p>\n
Some of the organizations that donated goodies towards the Governors tree include;\u00a0\u00a0Coca-Cola -Africa, The Dawoodi Bohra community of Nairobi, Agricultural Society of Kenya, and Nairobi Water and Sewerage Company.<\/p>\n
The Governor commended them for their commitment over the years and who despite the Covid-19 pandemic went the extra mile to ensure the County\u2019s mission to assist those in need was realized.<\/p>\n
